  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and battery-operated tools.
  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using mobile applications.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and be on-call when needed.
  • The ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • The ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, or stoop for extended periods.
  • Comfort working in tight spaces, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
  • The ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds.
  • Willingness to work in varied indoor and outdoor environments.
Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and service dry chemical, clean agent, and special hazard fire suppression systems.
  • Inspect and replace fire suppression tanks, cartridges, and control unit batteries.
  • Perform semi-annual system maintenance, including checking hoses, discharge lines, nozzles, and detection loops.
  • Maintain data logs and control unit information.
  • Conduct electronic and manual actuator testing to ensure proper functionality.
  • Perform annual extinguisher inspections and monthly fire pump runs.
  • Travel regionally, with overnight stays required for up to one week at a time.
  • Communicate daily with site planners and use company time-tracking and field service applications.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience installing, inspecting, maintaining, or servicing fire suppression systems.
  • Welding and maintenance experience.
  • Experience with mining vehicle fire suppression systems.
  • Clear communication and a customer service mindset.
  • The ability to work independently.
