Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • 3+ years of project or event management experience in a B2B environment 5+ preferred
  • knowledge of MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required; Adobe Creative Suite software knowledge is highly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Marketo or similar Email automation tool
  • Good knowledge of web technologies (SEO/Adwords)
  • Active with Social Media and knowledge of tools
  • Ability to work from our Houston TX Office 3 days a week on average
  • Open to national travel (5%)
Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, creation, and execution of MarCom activities (online & offline, from collateral to integrated, multi-national campaigns) with a view on the customer and an eagle eye for detail.
  • Plan and support training and promotional programs as well as an annual customer event and any other events as needed. Build and implement pre- and post-event lead-generating activities as the need arises.
  • Coordinate various marketing fulfillment duties including the ordering of sales literature, and promotional items as needed by working with and negotiating with external parties (vendors/suppliers).
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Customer Service teams and Vendors (requires strong collaborative skills to work with numerous partners located across North America).
  • Help to lead MarCom aspects of new product launches in agreement and alignment with Marketing and Product Management as assigned.
  • Maintain budget in coordination with the North America Communications Manager and work with Purchasing, AP, FP&A as needed to process POs and payments in a timely manner.
  • Think “Digital-First” – from websites to lead-generating campaigns and work in a team with digital and other marketing specialists to enhance the impact of all tactics.
  • Have a passion for Marketing and be a Brand Ambassador.
