Requirements
  • At least two (2) years of teaching students (classroom instruction or clinical teaching)
  • At least three (3) years of Occupational Therapy practice experience, a mix of populations including one year in pediatrics
  • Must be registered with NBCOT
  • Eligibility for an Occupational Therapist license in West Virginia
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of the appointment
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels including mentorship and coordination of student projects
  • Provide clinical services in the WVU Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice Clinic
  • Active engagement in Division, University, and professional service activities including participation in Division and committee meetings
  • Recruitment and review of applicants to the occupational therapy programs
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred Post-professional doctoral degree awarded by an institution accredited by a United States Department of Education recognized national and/or regional accrediting body. Candidates who are currently enrolled in a doctoral degree program with an established timeline for degree completion will be considered.
