Requirements
  • Juris Doctor from an ABA approved law school and admittance to practice in the state where they reside.
  • 4-7 years (or equivalent) relevant law firm or in-house experience in a competitive government contracting.
  • Extensive Knowledge of government regulatory requirements, including the FAR, DFARS, and GSA.
  • Experience working with the Intelligence community desired.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to operate in a team environment and liaison between multiple cross functional teams in a flexible manner.
  • Sound business judgement, and strategic, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage a large workload and work autonomously.
Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for advising clients and contracting/legal services supporting government customers to include US federal, state & local and Canada.
  • Supports the full life cycle of contracting and proposal priorities including but not limited to business capture, proposals, contracting negotiations and ensure effective contract management to ensure regulatory compliance.
