  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in aerospace or aviation hardware processing for Level 2.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in aerospace or aviation hardware processing for Level 3.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
  • General understanding of electronic work instruction systems (MAXIMO, Solumina).
  • Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly, thermal protection material application, protective finish removal processes and paint application of metal structures.
  • Ability to read, understand engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Capability to understand and follow electronic work instruction documents.
  • Proficient with manual and power tools.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, requiring minimal oversight; flexible and adaptable to varying work scope and tasks.
  • Strives for excellence in workmanship and defect-free products.
  • Standard computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • The Engineering Technician performs hands on activities/tasks associated with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and thermal protection systems application, assembly, and check-out operations.
  • Knowledge of coating removal, critical coating application, and pneumatic tooling operations is also desired.
  • Participates as a team member to positively influence and enhance the safety, quality, cost, and scheduling of their team.
  • Candidate must be well organized and able to follow and execute computer-based shop assembly instructions.
