Requirements
  • Knowledge of Care Quality Commission regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry.
  • Understanding of patient safety processes, clinical practice standards, safeguarding, and quality improvement.
  • Ability to analyse information and data, identify themes, and translate findings into clear actions.
  • Ability to write concise, credible reports for a range of audiences.
  • Ability to influence and challenge constructively, including when working with senior colleagues.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and detailed pieces of work.
  • Ability to work confidently and autonomously while remaining connected to the wider team.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across services and with external partners.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Treatment and Care Review panels.
  • Support investigations into patient safety incidents.
  • Contribute to high-quality reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure learning from incidents, audits, Serious Case Reviews, independent investigations, and frontline practice becomes part of service delivery.
  • Support quality improvement plans.
  • Develop and undertake targeted audits.
  • Identify emerging risks.
  • Use data to help teams understand performance and strengthen service delivery.
  • Work alongside operational teams, managers, and partners to support quality improvement and constructive conversations around quality.
