Job Description
A core team member of the strategy and analytics team at Trip-Arc. The Sr. Manager, Strategy will develop business cases, perform qualitative/ quantitative analysis, prepare management presentations, and work closely with the business to influence the strategic direction and financial performance of the Company.
Reporting to the VP, of Strategy & Analytics, the Manager will have significant exposure to senior management with the opportunity to work closely with the various Business Units Leaders, Product & Technology, Finance, Marketing, and HR teams across the organization. Your work will play a critical role in the success and profitable growth of our various lines of business and in supporting our mission to deliver world-class luxury travel experiences.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform research and analysis, identify immediate business needs, validate assumptions and drivers, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to support the Company’s immediate growth strategy.
- Assist in the preparation of management presentations, including but not limited to business cases, quarterly/ annual financial reviews, and other executive updates.
- Develop and own detailed KPI tracking for each identified streams and projects; work closely with stakeholders to highlight gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, partnering with key stakeholders to develop and maintain a narrative of the business strategic outlook by pulling together a cohesive story of the opportunities, key drivers for each of the Company’s business unit and the organization as a whole.
- Support the organization to develop multi-year strategic planning process and define the key business priorities and scorecard metrics in conjunction with the senior leadership team.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business/Economics and related fields.
- 5+ years of internal strategy experience in a fast-growing and multi-disciplinary industry; or 3-5 years of advisory / consulting experience as an analyst or associate in professional services.
- Proven experience developing strategy, commercial business cases, financial models, and reporting to a senior executive audience.
- Proactive with a self-starter / can-do attitude, with ability to form strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment with significant change, ambiguity and adapting to evolving organizational requirements.
- Advanced PowerPoint is critical with an emphasis on the ability to synthesize complex information to present in a concise and structured manner.
- Advanced Excel is essential with an emphasis on the ability to manipulate complex financial and operational data.
- Experience with BI tools is a plus.
