GRM Information Management and world-class Cancer research and treatment Center expand pathology and document storage relationship.

GRM Information Management and world-class Cancer research and treatment Center expand pathology and document storage relationship. JERSEY CITY, N.J.-(BUSINESS WIRE)-GRM Information Management and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center are proud to announce an expansion of their existing document and pathology storage relationship. The partnership was originally established in 2020, when GRM began providing storage services for a large portion of MSKCC's pathology blocks and slides that had previously been housed in the facilities of another storage vendor. After five years of delivering quality operations and service, MSKCC recently awarded GRM a multi-year contract that consolidated their entire document and pathology storage collection with GRM. This recent expansion adds tens of thousands of cubic feet of both pathology blocks and slides, as well as physical documents, and the ongoing management and delivery of them to MSKCC's research and clinical operations. GRM President & CEO, Avner Schneur, says, "GRM delivers first-class facilities, superior operations, and continues to define the gold standard for high-quality and consistent customer service." Schneur goes on to add, "And that's why industry-leading organizations like MSKCC are moving to us and consolidating their collections with us." GRM's climate-controlled storage facility, where MSKCC's pathology collection is housed, maintains physical standards and processes that are consistent with HIPAA, CLIA and CAP certification requirements. Additionally, GRM staff who handle and process pathology samples are highly trained and dedicated to servicing GRM's pathology clients. This dedicated segment of GRM's labor force possesses a high level of knowledge of clients and processes, which ultimately results in a nearly error-free environment and speed with processing requests and filling orders for pick-ups and deliveries. As a complement to GRM's high-touch, personal customer service, clients can also utilize GRM's eAccess online inventory management system and dashboard, which serves as the primary means for clients to view inventory and process delivery and pickup requests. The client's capability to request individual blocks and slides for pick-up and delivery is enabled by the barcoding of each sample, which virtually guarantees superior inventory management and traceability. GRM's blocks and slides storage business is a natural extension of GRM's core document storage offering, as well as the company's growing digital healthcare solutions and patient data management solutions. Counting many of the country's largest healthcare organizations as clients, GRM employs their secure cloud-based content services platform, VisualVault, to deliver a broad and growing set of digital data managements and workflow automation solutions that are powered by sophisticated data extraction technologies, robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI) and valuable analytics tools. GRM Information Management is a leading provider of document storage, pathology storage, scanning services and digital information management systems. GRM delivers its clients digital solutions in cooperation with VisualVault, its sister company and cloud-based ECM platform. Serving a diverse base of industries such as healthcare, government, legal, finance and human resources, GRM delivers its clients services such as digital conversion, advanced data capture solutions, document management systems, workflow automation, legacy data archiving, compliance and governance, business process management (BPM) and advanced analytics capabilities, as well as a full suite of document storage, scanning and physical records management services. GRM maintains offices in 15 major metros across the U.S., including Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Miami, New Jersey/New York, Philadelphia, San Antonio, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. U.S. News releases 2026-2027 Best hospital rankings.

U.S. News releases 2026-2027 Best hospital rankings. Aug 4, 2026 Key Takeaways * U.S. News expanded regional and specialty evaluations, adding cancer and cardiovascular regional rankings while increasing Best Regional Hospitals recognition. * Rankings prioritize risk-adjusted mortality, preventable complications, patient experience, and objective outcomes, including patients' ability to return home after treatment. * Psychiatry and rheumatology specialty lists expanded from seven to 17 hospitals, broadening recognition beyond previous national rankings. U.S. News & World Report has published its annual Best Hospitals list for 2026-2027, with the ratings placing emphasis on risk-adjusted mortality rates, preventable complications, and patient experience. A total of 20 hospitals in nine states were named to the Honor Roll, a distinction that covers broad clinical recognition. University of California San Diego Health returned to the list after a yearlong absence, while Mayo Clinic in Florida is new to the list this year. Meet drops. Hear what life with a health condition actually looks like. Now in one app. Built for people living with chronic and rare conditions. The magazine evaluated more than 4,500 hospitals and included 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. The list of Best Regional Hospitals also grew to 504 centers, up from 466 last year. "Our core mission is to serve consumers, health care consumers, including patients, their families, referring physicians, and making sure that patients are well informed about both local or regional options for care as well as those that may be farther afield," Ben Harder, U.S. News' managing editor and chief of health analysis, told MedCentral. U.S. News also included four new regional specialty rankings that cover cancer, cardiology, heart and vascular surgery, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. Another 73 hospitals earned Best Regional Hospitals for Community Access honors for delivering critical care to underserved communities. More procedures and conditions rated. The Best Hospitals Specialty rankings and the Procedures & Conditions ratings both draw on empirical data and weigh patient outcomes. This includes risk-adjusted mortality rates, patient experience, and the frequency with which patients are able to return home after treatment. The Procedures & Conditions ratings rest on objective patient care measures. Best Regional Hospitals are those that score well across both systems, according to the criteria detailed in the Procedures & Conditions methodology report. For the 2026-2027 Honor Roll and the specialty and regional rankings, U.S. News drew data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, professional organizations, medical specialists, and other sources. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center retained its place as No. 1 in the category, followed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, Mayo Clinic-Rochester, and Massachusetts General Hospital. "This ranking is a tremendous honor, and it reflects our unwavering commitment to continue making progress in our mission to end cancer," said MD Anderson President Peter WT Pisters, MD, in a statement. "We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this recognition possible: our faculty and staff, volunteers, donors, and the patients and families we are honored to serve." U.S. News & World Report added regional cancer rankings this year, extending its evaluations beyond the 50 hospitals named in the national ranking to reach patients who may not live near one of them. "There are others who may not live in a community with one of those hospitals or may not realize that there's great oncology care in their backyard," Harder said. He added that the regional lists use the same scoring and methodology used for hospitals as the national rankings. For more on this year's cancer care center rankings, see Oncology News Central.
