Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience is required.
  • A minimum of eight years of facilitation experience is required, including at least five years designing and delivering leadership and professional development for emerging to senior-level leaders.
  • Experience with leadership assessment tools and curriculum development is required.
  • Experience managing multiple learning and development projects and programs concurrently is required.
  • Travel of up to 25% is required.
  • The position generally works Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 5 PM, but work may occur at any time on any day to meet business needs.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Assess, design, facilitate, and evaluate leadership-oriented programming, resources, materials, and interventions for different audiences and learning formats to improve leadership effectiveness.
  • Design and develop learning and development processes and organizational development tools as necessary.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advise and consult with leaders on development opportunities and training for team members.
  • Partner with Talent team members to plan, develop, and evaluate team member development programs and events at all levels.
  • Develop internal and external alliances and partnerships with training providers.
  • Assist in developing instructional material and help lead internal clients through needs analysis, design, development, and implementation phases of curriculum and resource development.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive leadership and professional development training library, assist in developing and implementing new training programs, and ensure the quality of facilitation and delivery.
  • Participate in professional and trade-related organizations such as the Association for Talent Development and the Society for Human Resource Management to stay current in training and development trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and incorporate them into leadership development programming and resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of development programs through measurement methods and metrics and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects associated with leadership development initiatives based on strategic priorities.
  • Chair, participate in, and/or coordinate leadership and professional development task forces, committees, and process development teams.
  • Develop and submit learning and organizational development recommendations and proposals to the Leadership and Professional Development Program Director, Senior Vice President of Talent, and/or executive team as appropriate.
  • Create a supportive environment that allows mistakes but not failure, motivates and instructs, and shares positive and negative feedback constructively.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in assessment tools and facilitation methods such as DiSC, StrengthsFinder, or DDI.
  • Experience facilitating content from leading leadership frameworks such as The Leadership Challenge or Emotional Intelligence.
