Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a service or sales environment, a club business function, or a related area.
  • Cumulative experience using instructional technologies to develop online courses for adult learning using the ADDIE or Kirkpatrick model.
  • Experience facilitating training via web conferencing, utilizing surveys and polls, facilitating virtual breakout rooms, and leading meetings to influence change.
  • Proactive and responsive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement in individual, team, and organizational performance.
  • Strong one-on-one and group presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and different learning styles.

  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and some weekends, to accommodate meetings in different time zones.

Responsibilities
  • Develop online content by writing outlines and scripts, using programming functionality, testing, evaluating, debugging, and uploading content.
  • Analyze training outcomes, measure and evaluate results, and make recommendations that incorporate business practices into instructional design and learning-objective sequencing.
  • Use instructional technologies to develop online content and knowledge assessments, troubleshoot issues, test or pilot courses, make revisions, and produce final products.
  • Write course descriptions for the online library and recommend instructional design standards, content, and program improvements based on training-result analysis.
  • Develop participant and facilitator materials for live training, including workbooks, manuals, job aids, class activities, and case studies.
  • Research and determine training content, and update training materials so instructors can deliver effective and engaging class activities.
  • Provide evaluative feedback on processes, delivery, and desired results for subject matter experts and training specialists.
  • Prepare reports, surveys, and evaluation documentation describing areas of success and improvement, and present results to management.
  • Train employees in rollout environments, provide train-the-trainer sessions to instructors, and demonstrate available training materials.
  • Meet with management and subject matter experts to define needs, create and present training outlines, and gain agreement on training plans.
  • Follow project plans and deadlines and keep the team informed.
  • Revise existing course content as systems, products, procedures, and requirements are updated or expanded.
  • Identify emerging design, development, delivery, and technology trends for training content development and delivery.
  • Work with the ACE Technology Infrastructure team to stay current on organizational trends, technology, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot online course access and answer help calls related to training.
  • Recommend course content and delivery methods and create desired learning outcomes using relevant tools and expertise.
  • Make day-to-day decisions independently and consult with a supervisor or senior instructional designer on non-routine items.
Desired Qualifications
  • Four to six years of experience in a service or sales environment, a club business function, or a related area.
  • One to three years of cumulative experience using instructional technologies to develop online courses for adult learning using the ADDIE or Kirkpatrick model, facilitating training via web conferencing, utilizing surveys and polls, facilitating virtual breakout rooms, and leading meetings to influence change.
