Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Business Communication, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of professional experience is required.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills are required.
  • Experience creating content for social media or other publications is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.
  • Familiarity with Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram for Business Pages is required.
  • Graphics and branding experience is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and word processing, is required.
  • The candidate must be able and willing to work long hours, including possible weekends, with limited notice to complete proposals by client deadlines.
  • Knowledge of government contracting, including at least one year of experience responding to federal procurements, is required.
  • The candidate must be able to learn technical systems quickly and efficiently.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Responsibilities
  • Execute and manage marketing and communication initiatives, including website content updates, intranet postings, social media content and video, and digital campaigns.
  • Create and maintain branding materials for new employee packets, company information recruitment packets, and internal employee events.
  • Coordinate event design, marketing, branding, and advertising, including themes, creative advertisements, and social media postings.
  • Update, track, monitor, and execute the existing marketing plan.
  • Assist the Proposal Manager throughout the proposal process, including corresponding with agencies, developing content, creating and maintaining compliance matrices, proofreading, and producing and submitting proposals according to solicitation specifications.
  • Develop proposals around marketing strategies, including value propositions, capability visuals, and enhanced graphics, under the guidance of the Proposal Manager.
  • Conduct final proposal reviews to address compliance deficiencies, gaps, spelling, grammar, formatting, consistency, and word-processing edits.
  • Use SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite to create, format, document, and maintain capability statements, bid/no-bid logs, proposal tracking logs, compliance matrices, resumes, past performances, and proposal documents.
  • Coordinate electronic submission of questions and proposal packages according to solicitation instructions.
  • Search online platforms daily for potential contract opportunities.
  • Coordinate practice and industry events, including two national conferences requiring travel and two local conferences.
  • Maintain the business development shared-document repository, including target agencies, core service offerings, agency forecasts, identified opportunities, and other gathered data.
  • Use GovWin or GovTribe for capture, business development, and proposal research.
  • Develop and conduct staff training on capture tools, whitepapers, capability statements, blogs, social media use, and Section 508 compliance.
  • Ensure Section 508 compliance as requested by practice leaders.
  • Review content for executive consumption and firmwide distribution to support the firm's professional image.
Desired Qualifications
  • Desktop publishing skills using Adobe Illustrator are a plus.
  • APMP or marketing certification is desired.
  • Section 508 certification is desired or must be obtained after hire.
  • Experience using Microsoft Copilot or other artificial-intelligence productivity tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Canva and Squarespace is a plus.
  • Skill in Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop is preferred.
