  • High school diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree/certificate in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience gathering, maintaining and compiling technical data.
  • Able to read engineering documentation and reports including drawings and schematics.
  • Capability to understand and follow electronic work instruction documents.
  • Ability to read, clearly interpret and accurately follow standard work and other written instructions.
  • Capable of the use of calibrated measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and electrical meters.
  • Proficient with manual and power tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED and 4 years of relevant experience OR associate’s degree/certificate in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and maintain electronic systems including repair and setup of video, audio, process controllers, test equipment, and data acquisition systems.
  • Review drawings, specifications and follow planning in support of various development projects.
  • Read and understand electrical schematics as well as use a variety of electronic troubleshooting equipment.
  • Work closely with systems engineers to fabricate and checkout test systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills with other technicians and engineers.
  • Willing to work overtime on occasion to meet testing requirements.
  • Demonstrate a strong attitude towards safety.
