Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Write original copy for annual eCommerce promotional themes across email, paid, social, and on-site placements.
  • Draft and refine merchandising copy, product descriptions, and lifecycle messaging to support conversion and revenue goals.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts and generate copy variants for testing, then shape them into final, on-brand copy.
  • Review and refine copy across every brand, audience, and product, including core products, Snap Marketplace, Flex Shopper, and Seen.
  • Establish and maintain editorial standards and a lightweight eCommerce style guide.
  • Identify and correct grammatical, factual, and merchandising errors to reduce rework and last-minute revisions.
  • Review and edit AI-generated content for readability, accuracy, and authenticity.
  • Provide editorial feedback to internal and freelance writers to improve consistency of output.
  • Partner cross-functionally to translate campaign and promotional priorities into a scheduled, prioritized copy pipeline.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance to ensure customer-facing copy meets regulatory and brand standards, flagging risks before launch.
  • Collaborate with designers and the broader Creative team to align copy and visual direction on tight promotional timelines.
  • Build and maintain repeatable AI-assisted drafting and editing workflows for eCommerce production and company-wide editorial review.
  • Balance efficiency from AI-generated drafts with human editorial oversight to protect brand voice and compliance across product lines.
