What you’ll be responsible for: 

Circle is looking for an experienced and exceptional Tax Manager to join its high growth team.  This role will provide support for a broad range of tax matters, including compliance & reporting, and various special projects.

What you’ll work on: 

• Preparing aspects of the global tax provision and transfer pricing in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on routine and ad-hoc tax reporting requests. 
• Responding to notices from various tax authorities.
• Assisting with direct and indirect tax compliance.
• Drafting technical memoranda on the company’s tax positions.
• Being responsible for the relevant SOX controls around compliance and reporting.
• Driving improvements to the company’s overall tax position and assisting with special projects as needed.

What you’ll bring to Circle: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or a CPA preferred
• 7+ years of income tax compliance and financial reporting experience with a combination of large public accounting firm and corporate tax departments
• Experience managing relationships with external advisors and auditors
• Ability to prioritize and communicate workloads to ensure tasks are completed timely 
• Organized, detailed, proactive, self-motivated, collaborative, multi-tasker, and creative
• Experience/familiarity with with Slack, Apple MacOS, and GSuite
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision preferred
• Experience/familiarity with Slack, Apple MacOS and GSuite.

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range:  $130,000 - $170,000

Annual Bonus Target: 15%
