  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical translation and localization industry, with experience working with Pharma/Life Science clients.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in translation management software and project management tools.
  • Experience working with CAT tools such as Wordbee and/or Studio is beneficial (though can be taught).
  • Familiarity with Jira is a bonus but can also be taught.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute pharmaceutical translation and localization projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project timelines, manage resources, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Handle quoting processes, including both quote preparation and follow-ups with stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders as applicable, addressing their needs and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Ensure that all translated materials adhere to industry-specific terminology, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Implement quality control processes and review translated content for accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with in-house linguists, external translators, and localization specialists.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards, including FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.
  • Stay updated on industry changes and incorporate them into project management practices.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project to ensure successful delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports, including status updates, budget tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation for reference and compliance.
