We are looking for a dynamic Distribution Associate to come in and join our Warehouse Team at 10x Genomics reporting to the Logistics Manager. The ideal individual should have a great understanding on how material is picked, packed and shipped within an organization. In this role, the Distribution Associate will be responsible for handling and shipping finished goods to all customers, 3PL and other 10X sites.  The Individual must bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose to the job, flexible in changing direction and methods, thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at managing multiple priorities, able to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization and have the prior work experience needed to quickly learn protocols.

What you will be doing: 

• Ensure that the correct parts are picked in a timely manner
• Ensure that our orders have the correct required paperwork (ex SLI, BOL) for shipment
• Picking and packing of temperature sensitive and ambient goods in preparation for delivery to internal and external customer which requires to work in a -20-degree environment for periods of time
• Process shipping requests from 10x employees worldwide
• Schedule pick-ups with our freight forwarders and our customers freight forwarders as needed
• Process domestic and international shipments
• Assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 year of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics
• Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to multi-task and excel in a fast-paced environment, to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials up to 50-70lbs.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant warehouse management ERP software (preferred NetSuite)
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:  

•  Hazmat Certified
• Experience working in a Pharma/ Biotech/ Life Science environment

*Hourly range for this position will be $25.10-$30.67
