Requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen with a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one prior to start.
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering specializing in Web Design and Development.
  • At least 3 years of relevant web development experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and CSS.
  • Experience designing, developing, or integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases, including queries, schema design, and data integration.
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control, including branching, merging, and code collaboration.
  • Experience writing, updating, and maintaining efficient, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Basic familiarity with Linux environments, command-line operations, or Bash scripting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain websites, web applications, and application databases.
  • Ensure that code is properly structured, adheres to industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers and devices.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes.
  • Integrate websites with other computer applications and develop website infrastructure.
  • Design user-friendly interfaces, navigation menus, and digital layouts that ensure compatibility and usability across different browsers and devices.
  • Use web frameworks and client-side coding to enhance user experience.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience with Python libraries or frameworks such as pandas, NumPy, Flask, FastAPI, Django, Plotly, Dash, or SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience with React-based application development, including state management, reusable components, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, or similar containerization tools.
  • Experience with GitLab, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, or similar DevOps workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS EC2, S3, or equivalent services.
  • Experience managing or supporting web servers such as Nginx, Apache, or cloud-hosted application environments.
  • Understanding of web application performance concepts such as lazy loading, optimized rendering, asset management, and computational efficiency.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and estimation using tools such as Jira.
