  • Four-year degree in Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Previous supervisory experience in a team-oriented environment
  • [F&B Only] Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled environment
  • Ability to read, interpret, and effectively communicate necessary policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage, lead, and influence others on a team while prioritizing multiple projects

Responsibilities
  • Enable high performance of the supply chain facility by fostering a reliability-centered maintenance culture within your team
  • Provide strong leadership to Maintenance Technicians, Utility Attendants and Enterprise Asset Management Software Technicians
  • Cultivate a sense of urgency and quality focus, deliver solutions for challenging problems
  • Work with building leaders to optimize use of material handling equipment
  • Manage external contractors
  • Be on call for emergencies and handle multiple projects and daily activities
  • Meet tough timelines
  • Develop a continuous improvement ethic in your team by following a data driven process focused on root cause elimination
  • Improve the reliability of the system through ownership in defect handling, breakdown elimination and planning and scheduling
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to accomplish engineering and maintenance departmental goals
  • Lead and develop the team, including coaching and performance management
  • Oversee onboarding and completion of required training for new hires
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Own accuracy and timeliness of performance metrics within the shift and communicate shift hand-offs for continuity
  • Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets and oversee escalation during downtime incidents
  • Act as an ambassador for safety and promote safe working practices including Lock Out/Tag Out, Arc Flash, and use of PPE
  • Conduct safety investigations and after-action reviews to determine root causes
  • Execute sanitation and maintenance standards that support the health of industrial ammonia refrigeration (Food and Beverage only)
  • Manage overall health, reliability, and life cycle management for site commodities including material handling equipment, lighting, power distribution, backup generators, fire suppression and notification systems, balers, compactors, compressors, dock doors, HVAC, fleet, and powered industrial trucks
  • Approve financial expenditures for parts within corporate guidelines and validate quality of work by external contractors
  • Ensure data integrity and adherence to Asset Management standards
  • Oversee onboarding and completion of required training for new hires and support team capability enhancement
