- Be a member in good standing of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec.
- Provide an up-to-date résumé.
- Have at least one year of experience as an assistant unit manager or assistant nurse manager in a residential and long-term care facility (CHSLD); this is mandatory.
- Have significant experience with residential-care (CHSLD) clients.
- Assume responsibility for a set of nursing care activities according to the biopsychosocial needs of assigned users.
- Assess users’ health status, determine and ensure implementation of nursing care and treatment plans.
- Provide nursing care and treatments to maintain health, restore health, and prevent illness.
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate education for users and their relatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and coordinate care teams on the unit.
