We are currently hiring  Machine Operators for in our Youngsville, NC manufacturing facility. Join us if you are interested in working in a fast-paced, financially sound, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Schedule:

•  6:30am-2:30pm Monday thru Friday (May vary based on department)
• Some overtime required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare the machine for production by positioning and securing the material
• Determine the sequence of operations by studying blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Regulate machining speed and process by setting and adjusting controls
• Maintain specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls
• Resolve production problems by altering processes to meet specifications; notifying the supervisor to obtain additional resources
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer’s instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs
• Contributes to team effort working in other areas as needed
• Maintain an orderly and tidy work environment

Job Requirements:

• Ability to interface with modern touchscreen automated equipment
• Basic Microsoft Office/Windows knowledge is required
• Capable of solving problems and using good judgment in making decisions
• Ability to read and work from prints, schematics, and technical bulletins
• Ability to read tape measures and use good rudimentary math skills
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and standing for long periods
• Proficiency in English

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
