Requirements
  • 6+ years in a social media strategy role with a proven track record and demonstrable work portfolio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of key social networks, nuances and algorithms
  • Experience with social publishing and analytics tools (e.g. Later and Google Analytics)
  • Able to build strong working relationships across teams and business units
  • Strong sense of initiative, a collaborative spirit and an ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of the kind of content Hypebeast publishes at a local and international level
  • Must be based in London and able to work 2-3 days per week from the office
Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and development the global social media strategy across all platforms
  • Remotely manage a team of regional social media managers
  • Be the key point of contact between departments to ensure a fluid way of working for all
  • Analyze data and deliver regular performance reports with suggested actions and next steps
  • Work closely with regional leads to ensure brand consistency across regions
  • Monitor industry trends and stay on top of the latest social media technical innovations
  • Work closely with Brand Parnterhips to ensure branded content is aligned to global brand POV
  • Be an advocate for best practice at all times
