Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a Master's degree in nursing, business or healthcare related field is required or equivalent years of experience.
  • At least seven years of experience in Medical Oncology with demonstrated knowledge of Oncology accreditations and Joint Commission regulations is required.
  • Seven to ten years of experience that demonstrates increasing job responsibilities with a solid record in clinical operations and clinical program development is required.
  • A minimum of five to seven years of management and supervisory experience including medical oncology and administrative experience is required.
  • Registration and current Massachusetts RN license required.
Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Care Center VP and in collaboration with the SPG/SHG Leadership, perform diversified duties in support of the development, implementation, oversight and operations of the Medical Oncology Service line/department.
  • Work collaboratively with the Medical Director of Medical Oncology to achieve department goals and industry standards.
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality oncology care to patients using benchmarks and best practice standards.
  • Endorse a collaborative and integrated Oncology care model across disciplines and service lines.
  • Demonstrate leadership competency in customer service, human resource management and financial outcome management and quality improvement.
