Code and Theory’s Internship Program is ideal for college juniors, seniors, recent grads, and career changers who are looking for hands-on experience at a digital-first creative agency. Interns have the option to work remotely or in the NYC office.
We are now accepting applications for our remote, 12 week, paid internship program across many of our departments.
At Code and Theory, Motion Designers breathe life into digital brands and products. We value a production-focused workflow, creating nuanced and beautiful work quickly and efficiently. Motion Design is applied across all of our accounts, and the work includes short-form animations for digital campaigns, motion packages with a strong sense of brand identity, long-form narrative pieces to illustrate complex ideas, and illustrating user journeys through digital products.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will partner with our motion designers and art directors to respond to client briefs and contribute to creative workstreams across multiple projects.
- The ideal person will have a strong motion design portfolio including both 2D and 3D motion graphics.
- AfterEffects and Cinema4D proficiency is required.
- OctaneRender experience is a plus.
Eligibility
- You can be entering your senior year of undergraduate studies, a recent graduate, master’s student, career changer, or reentering the workforce after taking some time off
- You must be currently based in the U.S.

The hourly rates for our internship positions are between $20 - $26 per hour based on role, skill set, education level, and experience.
