Requirements
  • Leadership, Communication, Government financial management, budgeting, financial modeling, reporting, presentations and at least three years performing Federal Government Management such as Cost Estimation, Acquisition, Acquisition Database services, Negotiations, Communication.
  • Must be able to pass background check and maintain security clearances to maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in project management, scheduling, performing, reporting, analyzing, and documenting activities associated with ensuring productivity and efficiency of projects, including overall project health, basic project management, evaluating actual vs budgeted cost, schedule, and performance data, developing assessment metrics, and producing cost, schedule, and performance budget forecasts.
  • Knowledge of FAA systems, equipment, procedures, operations, and budgeting is highly desired. Knowledge of project management principles and budgeting and accounting principles is required.
  • Education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, or an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business, is highly desired.
  • Minimum of consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities in quality control management within the past five years.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English; ability to communicate via email; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Most levels require experience in project management, scheduling, performing, reporting, analyzing, and documenting activities related to productivity and efficiency of projects, or administrative or management operations.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, initiate, execute, monitor and control, close, and report on all FAALC work activities of assigned projects and other responsibilities as authorized by the Project Charter for each of the assigned project(s).
  • Document all project stakeholder expectations and report all positive or negative impacts to the assigned project(s) cost, performance, or schedule to their assigned project supervisor.
  • Create detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and other deliverables that are required per the assigned project(s).
  • Participate in project meetings, provide project tracking and analysis, ensure adherence to quality standards, and perform reviews of project deliverables.
  • Document the integration of tasks, provide technical analytical guidance to project team, and make recommendations in regard to the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Provide complete drafting services in support of the FAALC including operations and maintenance of the drafting file system, reproduction of drawings, and preparation of engineering drawings, electronic artwork and electronic media.
  • Provide complete FAALC Technical Library maintenance services.
  • Provide Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Specialist services including training, monitoring, and technical guidance for planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling of a project, and closeout of assigned projects.
  • Provide quality improvement services using Lean Six Sigma methodology to the FAALC including facilitating, planning, coordinating, reviewing, evaluating and reporting all activities for continual improvement projects.
  • Provide logistics expertise to the FAALC including analysis and recommendations for planning, scheduling, monitoring, estimating and coordinating assigned logistics tasks.
  • Provide management and program analysis services to the FAALC including planning, scheduling, conducting, and reporting analyses of management, administrative and logistics programs and procedures.
  • Provide project management services to assist in all aspects of planning, initiation, execution, monitoring and controlling of the project, and the closeout of assigned projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Special Projects experience including detailed project plans and budgets as approved by Government; ability to submit detailed project plans and budgets for Special Projects.
  • Special emphasis on Lean Six Sigma knowledge and experience; knowledge of FAA NAS systems and equipment is highly desired.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
  • Background in Environmental Safety and Occupational Health Support and training in related areas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Associate degree in Accounting or Business is highly desired.
  • Security clearance is a valued asset for engagements in the Federal marketplace.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities across projects.
