Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts operates a global network of luxury hotels, resorts, and private residences, focusing on managing properties under its brand rather than owning them. This approach ensures consistent quality and service across all locations. The company targets affluent travelers looking for premium accommodations and personalized services. A notable aspect of its offerings includes branded residential properties, allowing individuals to own a private residence within a Four Seasons establishment, with access to hotel amenities. Additionally, Four Seasons has a fractional ownership division, known as Four Seasons Residence Clubs. Revenue is generated mainly through management fees based on hotel revenue and gross operating profit, along with licensing fees for branded residences. The company's strategy is built on four core pillars: Quality, Service, Culture, and Brand, which help maintain its luxury market position.
