Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10 years working in a broker-dealer operations/trading environment
  • FINRA Series 7 required
  • FINRA 57 license required
  • Strong understanding of brokerage operation functions
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt to a changing environment
  • This role requires the ability to work primary hours from 3:30 AM ET to 12:30 PM ET, with occasional flexibility to cover shifts at other times between 8:00 PM ET on Sunday and 8:00 PM ET on Friday. This schedule is essential to meet the demands of the position and may include early mornings as well as varying shifts throughout the workweek based on operational needs.
Responsibilities
  • Execution of Written Supervisory Procedures to comply with all SEC and FINRA rules
  • Order entry and trade execution of equity and stock option orders
  • Resolution of trade inquiries
  • Monitor trading activity, firm accounts, corporate actions, and identify and resolve problems associated with trades
  • Monitor health of routing systems and Venues, and interact with Venues as required
  • Coordinate response for system, trading, and communications (SEV) related issues.
  • Engage with cross functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance) on product development and problem solving.
