Outside Sales Representative

This Outside Sales role is responsible for owning the entire sales process from cold call through installation of Microbulk equipment, and meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets. This is a tremendous opportunity to enter the sales world and Air Products with ample opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, engage, and generate appointments with prospects through a variety of methods, including in-person visits, phone, and email outreach.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the Microbulk product suite, safety standards, technical competence, and sales process.
• Record and maintain accurate, current, and relevant data in CRM.
• Ability to demonstrate product knowledge and internal resources to bring value to prospects during the sales process.
• Grow a valid pipeline of prospects, work with prospects through the sales process, and independently negotiate and close sales opportunities.
• Ability to collect information and build presentations to internal and external partners.
• Serve as the commercial information lead between the customer and internal team members during project execution.

There is no relocation allowance for this position - local candidates preferred.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Experience in a driven environment with a record of success exceeding goals which may be proven through previous work or validated experience in an outside sales role.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and your own vehicle.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong desire to be in outside sales.
• Retain a positive demeanor and ability to overcome objections.
• Highly teachable and desire to learn.
• Technical background a plus.
• Comfortable conducting face-to-face cold calls.
