Application Engineer Intern

Job Description:

About the Position:

The purpose of this position is to support our Product Applications and Product Development Teams in Field testing, Form Fit Function testing, and Product Cycle testing.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate with Product Application Management on identification of test requirements
• Test components for Form Fit and Function
• Generate Reports on Form Fit and Functions
• Identify opportunities for tracker installation improvements and value engineering
• Analyze and suggest areas for value engineering to provide most ideal solutions
• Support Build of Tracker Rows for R&D Tests

Desired Characteristics:

• Self-motivated, independent, technical aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills
• Comfortable in a dynamic atmosphere with a rapidly expanding customer base and product offering
• Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate professionally verbally, in writing and with presentations
• Proven ability to solve complex problems
• Enrolled in Masters, PHD or Bachelor's program

Intern pay range for California - $15,000-$20,000 for duration
