Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Ability to communicate on multiple-frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed.

  • Ability to work in refrigeration and freezer temperatures and conditions where common allergens may be handled or present.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing duties including Drive-Ups and carryout.
  • Ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience.
  • Ensure team members understand, are trained on, and consistently deliver guest experience commitments and operational standards.
  • Observe team performance, provide feedback, hold team members accountable, and recognize strong guest experiences.
  • Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take improvement action, align the team on execution, celebrate wins, and drive results.
  • Understand sales goals and plan and execute daily and weekly workloads to deliver department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, sales-floor display changes, sampling, and promotions.
  • Lead an efficient, guest-focused Food & Beverage team in completing the Food & Beverage Daily Standards walk.
  • Assess Food & Beverage and Food Service backroom and sales-floor areas daily, prioritize business needs, identify team workload tasks, and review reporting for business trends and follow-up.
  • Establish goals and expectations with guidance from the direct leader and hold team members accountable.
  • Partner with the store leadership team through communication and collaboration to influence sales performance and workload deliverables.
  • Maintain a fresh, full, and food-safe area during operating hours through inventory management, area routines, and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns.
  • Validate and follow up on team members’ progress against assigned workload tasks, production-area routines, and best practices.
  • Lead execution of best practices and close skill gaps through development, coaching, training, and team interactions.
  • Lead team huddles to communicate focuses and trends using store reporting and headquarters communications.
  • Develop and maintain vendor partnerships, ensure delivery and merchandising standards are met, and place store-initiated orders where applicable.
  • Keep current on relevant trends and products to educate team members.
  • Support hiring and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • Support guest services including backup cashier, order pickup, and Drive-Up while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
  • Become a subject matter expert in federal, state, and local adult beverage laws and protect the store’s liquor license when applicable.
  • Lead the team in upholding Starbucks and Pizza Hut brand standards and partner with the Starbucks district manager when applicable.
  • Complete Food Safety Manager Certification and applicable Starbucks or Pizza Hut training and certification requirements.
  • Attend required in-store planning and business meetings and follow up on district-manager takeaways when applicable.
  • Demonstrate and enforce ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Lead safety practices by modeling and recognizing safe behaviors, correcting hazards, holding the team accountable, assisting with incident response, and reporting and investigating injuries.
  • Model physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies.
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and creating equitable experiences.
  • Follow safe and secure training and processes as a key carrier.
  • Occasionally assume store-level leader-on-duty responsibilities during assigned shifts.
  • Address store emergency and compliance requirements.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
