Senior Analyst, Insights & Analysis Hub (Geos: - Portugal)

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the JLL Research team as part of the JBS Research & Analysis Hub

The Senior Analyst will be part of a growing team of Researchers who will monitor Portuguese real estate

markets across various property sectors and industries, including Retail and Industrial. The Senior Analyst will

contribute to best-in-class research that differentiates JLL and provides a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The Senior Analyst will leverage proprietary JLL data and source, update and validate third party data. The

Senior Analyst will analyze and visualize data to communicate research insights to internal and external

stakeholders and clients through a variety of channels. The Senior Analyst will collaborate with our Research

teams across the EMEA country/market to produce regular quarterly market overviews and contribute to thought

leadership publications and other content developed by the Research team.

What this job involves:

• Develop detailed knowledge on the Portuguese real estate market and wider macro-fundamentals and trends impacting investors and occupiers.
• Interest in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics.
• Source and update, validate, analyze, and visualize data on the country’s/city’s commercial (and residential)
• real estate market, including data related to supply and performance such as current and future stock, lease

and sale transactions, tenants, and owners.

• Source and update data on the country’s macro and socio-economic environment such as economic
• performance, demographics.
• Leveraging proprietary JLL data and third-party data sources, produce standard Research deliverables
• including the quarterly market Insights, market overview PowerPoint decks, and short/medium/long form
• reports as requested by clients and the business.
• Contribute to thought leadership and research content developed by Research teams (locally & globally) through sharing data and contributing market knowledge and information where relevant to drive client engagement and business growth.
• Support the business development process by delivering property and sector insights in various formats including slide decks.
• Support ongoing and new client Research Advisory mandates through market analysis and development of end product for the client.
• Act as a touchpoint for external and internal enquiries regarding the country’s real estate market, with a particular focus on data requirements, market intelligence and trends.
• Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with the Research lead and researchers in the country/market to effectively understand the market and develop the appropriate end product.

Essential:

• Fluent communication – written and oral
• Interest in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics.
• Organized, methodical and proactive, with strong ability to multitask, be resilient and effectively manage time

and workload independently.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to both - work independently and as part of a dynamic matrixed organization.
• 2-4 years professional experience can be in economics, consulting, real estate, economic development, urban planning, or other related fields.
• Strong quantitative skillset, including Excel skills, with ability to identify new insights and trends through data
• Experience working with information systems, data, and reporting.
• Excellent command of Microsoft office tools (excel, PowerPoint…).

Desirable:

• Experience with data visualization tools and platforms.
• Experience in commercial real estate.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Social Science, Economics, or related discipline.
• Existing knowledge of information research tools.
• Knowledge of Portuguese real estate market
