Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Three years of experience with complex budgeting and forecasting.
  • Demonstrated success in managing budgets to within a 3 percent variability.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to internal clients on group- or organization-wide projects, programs, processes, and business initiatives; liaise with other teams and serve as the central point of contact for departmental business processes.
  • Support business and financial operations processes, including procure-to-pay processes and documentation, invoice and payment tracking, budget and report preparation or tracking, and lobbying information preparation or tracking.
  • Assist internal and external customers by researching, resolving, identifying, and clarifying issues; use programs and databases to track responses, identify issues, and recommend process improvements.
  • Analyze current business processes; develop, test, implement, and document improvement initiatives; maintain accurate documentation; provide expertise on organizational policies and procedures; and coordinate records management and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and develop, manage, and distribute ad-hoc and scheduled reports.
  • Coordinate financial, procurement, and contract management activities for departmental projects.
  • Manage financial functions including invoice coding and approval and expense reconciliation.
  • Facilitate project management, metrics, and operations coordination across departments in collaboration with team members and department leads.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve process consistency; support implementation and track post-change effectiveness.
