Nokia has been named by Gartner as a Visionary in the 2025 Magic Quadrant for Data Centre Switching.
Kiwi telecoms provider 2degrees has inked a six-year Voice Core deal with Nokia, which will see the operator tap Nokia's containerised Cloud Native Communication Suite (CNCS) to deploy new 5G services and optimise network resources.
In retaliation, Amazon accused Nokia of misusing its standard-essential patents by trying to block the use of its products instead of offering fair licences and violating rules which impacted competition.
Last week Nokia launched another Wi-Fi 7-capable 5G FWA gateway called 'FastMile Gateway 4' capable of Wi-Fi speeds of more than 4 Gbps, the company said in a press release here.
