Requirements
  • Excellent financial modeling and data analysis skills
  • Proven track record of delivering accurate final products that drive decision making
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts
  • Hands-on experience building complex financial models
  • Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and Powerpoint/Google Slides
  • Ability to identify trends, make data-driven recommendations and communicate effectively

  • Willingness to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Assist with annual budget planning process
  • Own monthly updates to rolling forecast to provide visibility into both short term and long term trajectory of the business
  • Assist with preparation of monthly reports of financial performance to management, Board of Directors, investors and various departments
  • Partner with department leaders to track expenses vs. budget and implement detailed reporting to drive decision-making
  • Drive the creation and maintenance of new KPI dashboards
  • Support Well’s monthly accounting close process with data aggregation to inform accrual entries
  • Perform analysis of variance to forecast and monthly flux
  • Provide modeling & data analysis support as needed to finance team and other internal stakeholders on various strategic initiatives, including sales/pricing support, growth opportunities and current customer support
  • Assist with evaluation of internal investments and future M&A opportunities, as well as equity financing rounds
  • Assist with managing, configuring and enhancing various financial systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency
  • Support vendor negotiations with financial analyses to assess ROI and track against budget
  • Create reports from various financial tools and HR system
Desired Qualifications
  • 2-3+ years of work experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity or corporate finance (ideally in the technology industry)
  • Experience with accounting software and billing systems (e.g., Quickbooks, bill.com) is preferred, but not required
  • Bonus: experience with BI tools like Looker and/or SQL is a plus
