Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Technical training or an associate degree in Electrical Technology or Construction Management is preferred.
  • A Journeyman or Master Electrician license is required if required by the jurisdiction.
  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical construction, including 5 years in a supervisory or superintendent role, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and construction practices is required.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings is required.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools, including Procore, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam, is required.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is required.
  • The ability to work in various weather conditions and job-site environments is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders or scaffolding as needed is required.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods on job sites is required.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical crews and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with design specifications, codes, and safety standards, including the National Electrical Code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Review electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
  • Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and report updates to the Project Manager.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Ensure electrical work meets quality assurance and quality control requirements.
  • Manage procurement and inventory of electrical materials and tools.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and site-specific regulations.
  • Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and optimize workflow.
  • Document daily job activities, progress reports, and incident reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
