Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevOps Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will hone your skills in a fast-paced environment working with a collaborative team. This position is part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM’s internal command IT systems, including one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems.  The successful candidate will have a solid IT networking background and be a key contributor.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the command or enterprise.

• Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logic network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, IT systems engineering.

• Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing network.

• Develop documentation on new or existing systems.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline

• Active TS/SCI w/Poly 

• Experience building large-scale CI/CD infrastructure

• Experience using cloud virtualization platforms like vSphere or ARIA

• Experience using common source control or CI/CD frameworks (i.e.Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)

• Experience using automated testing frameworks like Robot framework, Pytest, and GoogleTest.

• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)

• Experience utilizing Podman/Docker

• Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

• 15+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience

• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline 

• Knowledge of cross-compilation and experience building/using them on various architectures (PPC, MIPS, x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.)

• Experience with management products like Jira and Confluence

• Extensive experience parsing user stories or requirements to create testable objectives and measures of performance that will lead to fully tested software products

• GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certified

Salary Range:
