The Catalysis Initiative for Clean Energy and Chemicals (CICLEC) invites applications for a website manager who will be responsible for updating and maintaining the CICLEC website (catalysis.research.virginia.edu).
The website connects the initiative to the global science and engineering communities by sharing recent research advances, highlighting cutting-edge facilities and instrumentation, and celebrating professional achievements with the goal of building collaborations and inspiring new research directions.
Supported by the UVA Grand Challenges Initiative, CICLEC bridges multiple departments in Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Science and enables new interdisciplinary research in catalysis at UVA.
Responsibilities of the position include surveying CICLEC faculty members monthly for updates relevant to the website, such as publications, awards, and new personnel; converting these responses from faculty into proposed changes to the website; obtaining approval for the proposed changes from the faculty website leads (Profs. J. Bates and M. Personick); and implementing the approved changes to the website.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current UVA undergraduate student
- Previous experience with website maintenance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
