Job Description
Must have Private Equity/Funds/Financial Service experience
Review bookkeeping
Perform account analysis
Review bank reconciliations and supporting schedules (accruals, prepaid expenses, etc..)
Manage relationship with 3rd
party service provider, including providing procedural updates and training
Supervise and train internal bookkeeper(s)
Communicate with clients to clear questions and open items
Review and update bookkeeping procedures and checklists at least annually
Review/Process Forms 1099/1096
Internal Responsibilities (filing, status reports, time tracking, etc.)
Qualifications
Accounting or Finance degree
Experience working in financial services with Private Equity
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar program
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges)
Professional verbal and written communication skills
