Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and tactfully with a diverse group of constituents across various units and departments.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic office environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when managing information such as grades and financial records.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects and manage events and special assignments with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of student academic records, transfer credit evaluations, enrollment transactions, academic program data, and leave and withdrawal processes while ensuring compliance with School and University policies.
  • Process transfer credit, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate coursework, study abroad records, concentration and major requests, and student leave, withdrawal, rejoin, and readmission actions.
  • Own scheduling operations for courses, classrooms, and examinations, balancing faculty preferences, enrollment demands, university policies, and space constraints to support the academic program.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of registrar-related systems and technologies, including degree audit, curriculum management, transfer credit, and scheduling platforms.
  • Serve as a primary resource for registrar-related policies and processes, providing guidance on enrollment, degree progress, grading, transfer credit, accommodations, and academic requirements.
  • Participate in business process evaluation and redesign efforts, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Represent the Registrar as needed, assist with commencement planning, manage key communications, prepare reports and data analyses, and contribute to special projects that advance office and school priorities.
  • Partner with colleagues in the Office of the University Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, Bursar, Information Technology, and other colleges and schools to support students and academic operations.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional office setting.
  • A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
  • Experience with university student records systems.
