About the team and what we’ll build together
Data is at the core of everything we do at Kobie. This role is part of a high performing data and analytics team within Kobie that is responsible for helping our clients extract maximum value from their loyalty data. From churn models to chatbots, this hands-on role will have exposure to a massive dataset to help directly impact how Kobie provided value for our clients.
How you will make an impact
As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex datasets to extract insights that enhance customer loyalty programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data models, generate predictive insights, and contribute to the strategic growth of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate data scientist to make a direct impact on customer engagement strategies through innovative analytics.
What you need to be successful
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in data science, preferably within loyalty marketing, customer analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with predictive modeling, clustering, and segmentation techniques. Experience applying techniques to Next-Best-Offer models and personalization a plus.
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with customer loyalty programs or CRM systems.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and experiment design.
- Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Snowflake.
- NoSQL
- LLM building and deployment.
