Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with different departments to understand their requirements for goods and services
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, including price, delivery, and payment terms
  • Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Proposals (RFP)
  • Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions and supplier agreements
  • Monitor and track the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • Implement inventory control policies and procedures to optimize stock levels
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure accuracy in stock records
  • Collaborate with Ops and sales teams to manage stockouts and excess inventory efficiently
  • Manage warehouse daily operations, ensure productivity and adhere to safety protocols, industry standards, and regulations
  • Track and analyze warehouse metrics i.e. Inventory accuracy, order fill rates, on-time delivery to improve performance
  • Optimize transportation, distribution, and logistics processes to minimize lead times and reduce costs
  • Coordinate with third-party logistics partners, technicians, and management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment and parts to job sites
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
  • Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies
  • Collaborate with suppliers to implement sustainable and ethical practices in the supply chain
  • Collaborate with sales, City ops, and finance teams to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly
