Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience building mobile applications with meaningful production experience in React Native
  • Strong understanding of native iOS and/or Android development (Swift or Kotlin); comfortable with either
  • Experience with Expo, including build tooling, over-the-air updates, and native module configuration
  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React
  • Experience architecting shared code between mobile and web codebases (or a strong opinion on how to do it well)
  • Location requirement: role based in either San Francisco, California or Boston, Massachusetts and expecting office presence from 3 to 5 days per week
Responsibilities
  • Build the first native mobile application using React Native from scratch and establish key architectural decisions and patterns for the team
  • Drop into Swift or Kotlin when needed for HealthKit integrations, push notifications, or video calling SDKs
  • Collaborate on Next.js web frontend; treat mobile and web as a single surface area
  • Write product requirements documents
  • Write SQL to analyze feature performance
  • Own QA and ensure quality across the development cycle
  • Work closely with design, operations, and clinical stakeholders
  • Operate with high initiative in an environment of significant ambiguity
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience shipping and maintaining React Native apps in production
  • Experience with HealthKit integrations, push notifications, or video calling SDKs in a production context is a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems (EHRs, revenue cycle management) and willingness to work with them is a plus
  • Comfort with both mobility and web technology stacks and aligning shared architectures
