Requirements
  • A two-year degree in Drafting or Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience is required.
  • At least two years of experience drafting electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD is required.
  • The ability to read one-line diagrams and schematics is required.

Responsibilities
  • Create engineering drawings using AutoCAD for electrical builds, modification projects, upgrades, and customizations according to client specifications.
  • Track assigned tasks and prioritize their completion accordingly.
  • Maintain the company's CAD standards and templates.
  • Learn electrical equipment and client-specific equipment and their usage.
  • Learn panel and component design from client-specific standards and cut sheets, when applicable.
  • Learn wire sizing and design from client-specific standards and the National Electrical Code.
  • Read and analyze existing blueprints, construction drawings, and plans.
  • Produce accurate drawings promptly and efficiently.
  • Complete CAD drawings independently in a timely manner.
  • Learn construction and design methods and best practices.
  • Evaluate designs for constructability.
  • Estimate material usage and create bills of materials for design products.

It offers turnkey services from design and engineering through manufacturing and field support, with in-house engineering, fabrication, and testing to control timelines and quality.
