  • Departmental specialized training on medical software and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement standard hospital policies under the direction of the Practice Manager.
  • Educate registrar staff on accurate patient registration procedures.
  • Abstract and enter charges daily.
  • Coordinate staff scheduling to meet volume and workflow demands.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Answer the telephone.
  • Schedule patients.
  • Obtain incoming referrals.
  • Register patients.
  • Verify insurance information.
  • Enter and abstract charges into the computer.
