Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant program experience.
  • Master’s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biology, social science or quantitative field (preferred).
  • Experience on federally-funded research studies and/or pharmaceutical trials (preferred).
  • Experience in psychometric instruments and basic working knowledge of computer-based information systems (preferred).
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations, policies and procedures related to the conduct of research (preferred).
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail (preferred).
  • Ability to present information effectively in both written and verbal (preferred).
  • Ability to consistently exercise independent judgement and discretion (preferred).
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others (preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage tracking of all research participants through recruitment, screening, scheduling, enrolling, completion of study visits, and reimbursement.
  • Document participant data in research records. Manage participant electronic and paper files, including data entry. Address all research queries and inconsistencies in the data.
  • Collect routine clinical psychometric assessments. Collect data regarding sleep and mood. Present behavioral and health data including adverse events to the PI/study physician when necessary.
  • Collect and/or coordinate the collection and shipping of biological specimens.
  • Initiate and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation as required by the Institutional Review Board and Good Clinical Practice Guidelines in connection with research trials.
  • Conduct study visits and/or recruitment outreach after regular work hours or off campus when necessary to accommodate participants’ schedules, ability to travel, and sites for recruitment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
