Responsibilities
  • Analyze electronic data by parsing unstructured PDF drawings and structured outputs from standard electronic design automation software such as Mentor Graphics and Cadence.
  • Design and implement a Python-based artificial intelligence and data pipeline combining natural language processing, large language models, large vision models, computer vision, and graph-based approaches to map circuit topologies and understand component relationships.
  • Connect the algorithm to historical failure files to predict how components such as resistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits fail within their circuit context.
  • Structure the artificial intelligence output into a standardized failure mode and effects analysis format for human engineers to review and validate.
  • Work with hardware engineers to validate the artificial intelligence logic on a simple baseline electronic board and demonstrate the proof of concept's viability.

Finding enough workers with that particular skill set will probably be one of the more subdued challenges that lie ahead. The revenue target has some legitimacy because of the contracts that are already in place. Daimler Truck has obtained a framework agreement with the French Armed Forces through a partnership with Arquus for 7,000 vehicles based on the Zetros platform, an order for military logistics vehicles from the Bundeswehr, and a deal with the Canadian Armed Forces in collaboration with General Dynamics Land Systems covering at least 1,500 trucks. The Strategic Alliance Agreement, signed during Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever's state visit with Indian PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, sets the framework for the technology transfer as well as the local production and distribution of Thales' rocket systems and associated equipment. The companies aim to produce the first locally assembled rocket system by early 2027. As the Indian Armed Forces already use Thales' 70mm rocket systems, the collaboration would enable the South Asian country to domestically produce its military's requirements while advancing its vision to become a globally competitive defense manufacturing hub.
