Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-4 years directly managing a team of analysts and at least 5 years in a Data Analytics role or related with a preference for experience in a technology/SaaS environment, and an expertise in B2B analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills combined with a hands-on approach and ability to guide a team through ambiguity.
  • Compelling communication skills: You are a skilled communicator with a demonstrated ability to influence decisions through communicating technical concepts and complex data and insights to a variety of stakeholders in diverse settings.
  • Project Management experience: You have a demonstrated ability to plan and execute large complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Data infrastructure and modeling knowledge: A solid understanding of data infrastructure and data modeling principles is essential to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytics processes.
  • Versatile analytics skills: Demonstrated experience in various analytics areas domains with a proven ability to identify customer groups, calculate return on investment (ROI), conduct A/B testing, create insightful dashboards, and analyze customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies: Expert-level skills in SQL, intermediate proficiency in Python (including libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib), familiarity with Python scripting for automation and data ingestion, and extensive experience with business intelligence tools (particularly Looker, but experience with Tableau, PowerBI, and others is welcome).
  • Structured and guiding approach: You have experience guiding a team through the entire analytics lifecycle, defining success metrics, crafting analytics plans, and seeing projects through to completion.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of analysts that help our Marketing team understand what is driving lead generation, which Marketing channels are the most efficient and effective, how to optimize the website and marketing touchpoints through A/B tests, etc.
  • Partner with the Manager of Data Engineering, analytics engineers and Marketing leaders to build a roadmap of projects and deliverables ensuring they are planned in time to meet business needs and take into account any dependencies on other teams.
  • Contribute to shaping our data governance and refining analytics tools at 1Password.
  • Lead by example, inspiring teams to become champions of data-driven approaches.
  • Manage the Marketing Analytics staff, providing direction, support, and resources they need to perform and grow. Responsible for the development, engagement, and performance of the team.
