Requirements
  • Two or more years of experience performing Amazon Web Services operations and support, including experience with Elastic Container Service, Simple Storage Service, PostgreSQL, Lambda, and developing automation.
  • Strong experience with Docker, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, and Jenkins.
  • Proficiency in Java, Groovy, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Willingness to work during normal business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the U.S. Eastern time zone.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including JIRA and JSM.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and support multiple products simultaneously, with two to three systems preferred.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability and willingness to support a large-scale customer base.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be willing to obtain a security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain highly scalable production systems across multiple products, including FOLIO, LOCATE, and MetaDB, in a dynamic environment.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues with a focus on reliability and performance.
  • Develop and enhance automation to streamline operational processes using Java, Groovy, and scripting.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services services such as CloudFormation, Elastic Container Service, Simple Storage Service, PostgreSQL, Route 53, CloudFront, load balancers, and Lambda.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and deployment workflows using Jenkins and related tooling.
  • Participate in on-call rotations once every few weeks to ensure system availability and incident response.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer environments at scale.
  • Assist in managing API gateway and authentication layers using Kong and Keycloak.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency using artificial intelligence and automation techniques.
