Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for the operation of the assigned residence hall.
  • Assist in building security.
  • Assist in selecting and training new employees within the residence hall.
  • Supervise student workers and schedule floor and desk hours.
  • Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions to the Assistant Dean or Assistant Vice President.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Gain expertise and remain current in knowledge of appropriate programs.
  • Support department and university recruitment and retention efforts and enrollment strategies.
  • Participate as a member of the Council of Housing Coordinators.
  • Maintain the hall's activity-fund budget.
  • Conduct regular residence-hall inspections, report facility deficiencies, direct programming activities, and enforce rules and regulations as assigned.
