Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent secondary education; experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
  • Willingness to obtain NDT Level II certifications in visual testing, penetrant testing, and magnetic particle testing; Certified Welding Inspector certification through AWS; NACE Level 1 certification through the NACE International Institute; and OSHA 10-30 Hour Program training.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality systems processes and procedures.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow instructions, drawings or blueprints, specifications, safety signs or warnings, and other job-related materials.
  • Knowledge of specifications and tolerances.
  • Ability to use necessary measuring equipment.
  • Good mathematical and analytical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under schedule pressure and multitask.
  • Ability to sit, bend, stand, and walk for 8 to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
  • Compliance with safety and personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Ability to pass required drug tests and background inspections.
  • Valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Quality Management System is carried out to achieve planned results.
  • Develop and issue nonconformance reports and corrective improvement plans to appropriate suppliers and departments.
  • Follow up on issued nonconformance reports and corrective improvement plans to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Administer the SIT/Huber's calibration program and ensure required equipment is entered into Web QMS and remains up to date.
  • Input quality assurance and quality control information into Web QMS and appropriate job-book locations.
  • Construct job books and verify their accuracy before distributing them to the production floor.
  • Construct weld maps and required documentation for fabricated products.
  • Perform incoming Level 2 and Level 3 inspections of incoming materials.
  • Conduct dimensional inspections based on purchase orders or appropriate drawings.
  • Review material test reports and confirm materials comply with requirements.
  • Perform quality-control inspections of production and packaging processes.
  • Conduct and document final inspections.
  • Record and save factory acceptance test reports in appropriate job books.
  • Provide support for shipping.
  • Perform complex visual and dimensional inspections of jobs and parts in process to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and paint specifications.
  • Make accept or reject decisions on products and suggest corrections to processes or equipment to prevent recurring problems.
  • Travel to and vet third-party suppliers to determine whether they are qualified to meet SIT or customer specifications.
  • Travel to third-party suppliers to monitor hold points and paint inspections and ensure products meet SIT and customer requirements.
  • Ensure finished products shipped to customers are properly built to required specifications.
  • Ensure materials used to build finished goods are inspected and meet Engineering specifications.
  • Interface with Management, Operations, and Purchasing regarding discrepant materials.
  • Participate in design reviews to understand the quality role needed in new projects.
  • Review customer purchase-order quality flow-downs to ensure customer requirements are understood and distributed to appropriate SIT departments.
  • Participate in internal audits, external audits, and management reviews.
  • Support and participate in the organization's continual-improvement program to conform to ISO 9001 and understand the implications of noncompliance with the quality management system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Lauren Cooper Promoted to Vice President of Marketing

Lauren Cooper promoted to Vice President of Marketing. Houston, TX - February 20, 2026 - Employee Owned Holdings, Inc. (EOH) is proud to announce the promotion of Lauren Cooper to Vice President of Marketing. In this new role, Lauren will provide leadership of the marketing function and oversee the strategic direction of EOH's marketing initiatives. She will continue to drive programs that strengthen brand presence, enhance customer engagement, and support growth across EOH's family of companies: Hydraquip, Inc., Supreme Integrated Technology, Inc., and GCC. Lauren began her career with EOH 18 years ago as an intern in the company's New Orleans office while attending the Louisiana State University. Following her internship, she transitioned into an inside sales role, gaining valuable frontline experience supporting customers and the sales team. In 2010, she transitioned to EOH's Houston headquarters, officially joining the marketing team and steadily advancing through the organization. Most recently, she served as EOH's Senior Director of Marketing, where she transitioned to leadership of the marketing team, led efforts in lead generation, digital strategy, branding, trade shows, and customer and employee engagement initiatives. Her leadership played a key role in modernizing the company's marketing approach and strengthening alignment across the organization.
