Great Hill Solutions is seeking a full-time Jr. Web Developer, at the Institute for Security Governance (ISG) in Monterey, CA.

High-Level Requirements: The Jr. Web Developer provides support with the development and maintenance of the ISG website and application maintenance. We are seeking candidates with expertise and technical experience with web application development and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Support Microsoft 365 Suite application and form development, automation, and SharePoint maintenance, in collaboration with and under the requirements of the ISG client
Work with DSCA and ISG stakeholders to scope projects, identify best practices to further optimize web applications, and provide functional analysis to determine systems and data required to satisfy stakeholder needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a minimum two (2) years of experience working in U.S. Government computer systems and in web development
Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) web policy and regulations
Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s Degree in a computer-related field and/or systems/software development certification
Knowledge in languages or systems that support the development and maintenance of customized software, web-based applications, and database systems including AJAX, SQL, PHP, and others
Experience working with languages such as Velocity, FTL, HTML, CSS, SASS, Java, JSON, and others in support of designated CMS
Must be willing and able to work PST hours

Desired Skills:

Technical experience for web application and SharePoint
5+ years professional experience in data/program analysis and writing/editing
Familiarity with object-oriented programming
Possess a good understanding of relational databases and their design principles
Demonstrate proficiency in Java Script or other similar scripting languages
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
Knowledge of 508 compliance, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
Preferred knowledge in Drupal, Acqui, CSS, MVC Framework, using Power Automate for automation processes, PHP and MySQL Knowledge and GIT
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to self-start/self-motivate and work well on a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks of varying complexity and to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to respond to urgent and competing priorities
